Recently started Pilates at SP in Cobble Hill and so far really loving it. All the instructors are super sweet, knowledgeable and are there to make sure you have the right forms, prevent injury and motivate you. Classes are a good size and lots of options each day. I’ve been going for the last 3 weeks and I can feel and see the difference in my body already. I’m excited to keep going and get stronger, tighter and toned up in time for the nice weather. Pilates is a great addition to my workout regiment.

Feb 16, 2025 · Sonia KimAfter spending time researching all the Pilates places that have recently opened in my Brooklyn neighborhood, I’m so happy that I made the right decision in choosing Pilates International. What a lovely and welcoming studio this is! They offered a fantastic hard to resist trial package for 6 classes and after orientation with Aly E. I was sold! The studio is clean & spacious with mounted big digital screens that show all the movements as the Instructor is conducting class. The Instructors are hands on - so friendly and helpful, coming around, critiquing your posture on the reformer: it’s almost like getting a personal one on one training session! The workouts vary per instructor for each class but for the 45 minutes you are sweating a lot. I’m so happy that I push myself to do whatever I can because I feel great at the end of the session. The Instructors are absolutely phenomenal! I’ve already renewed another set of classes. I highly recommend Pilates International, especially if you have never taken a reformer class before. It’s not to say it’s easy, but you get the personal attention you need and it becomes addictive!

Having the screen demos work quite well, as they provide a constant visual aid and free up the in-person instructors to walk around and provide adjustments. I started about a month ago, and I feel myself getting stronger every day. The 45 minute classes fly by, and there are many time options that can fit into anyone's schedule.
Mar 20, 2025 · Beka SteckyI love Studio Pilates! The Cobble Hill location is great. I highly recommend Shannon's class. I've tried many Pilates Reformer classes and this one is the absolute best. I love the workouts and how strong (and sore!) I feel after a workout. The TVs throughout the room help guide me on what muscle group to focus on and the instructor always pushes me, while understanding my particular limits. Highly recommend :)
