I've been going to this gym for the past three months, and it’s been a great experience. The facilities are always clean, and there’s a welcoming energy from both the staff and other gym-goers. My trainer, Miles, has been great as well. His supportive and encouraging nature, coupled with a fun and, at times, challenging program, has pushed me out of my comfort zone in a positive way and has yielded results I didn’t know were possible.

All trainers here are great but, Mario is a different breed. Outstanding trainer & coach. The atmosphere he provides is always so motivating, always positive, energetic, professional, tactful, & very alert and aware of all students. HIGHLY recommend this gym if you are looking to be challenged to the next level.
Jan 10, 2025 · MilkaDefinitely recommend Brooklyn Fitness! Great gym, with fantastic trainers — everyone here is great! I worked mostly with Mario, and set the goal to keep losing weight without losing any muscle. He helped me reach that goal with a tailored plan and consistently positive energy. I’m generally intimidated by gyms (and weightlifting in particular!) but never feel that way here. I’m getting stronger, improving my form, and being in the gym is always a bright spot in my day.
Dec 03, 2024 · Catherine NI needed to add structure to my workouts and it has been fantastic! Miles is the GOAT. He makes training enjoyable. I feel challenged and stronger. He uses his PT knowledge to tailor programs, preventing pain and maximizing development. If you're on the fence, this is your sign.
Mar 07, 2025 · Jeff HuangQuick Summary: I highly recommend Brooklyn Fitness, especially to those who have gym anxiety and have no experience whatsoever. I started looking at opportunities to get active in order to limit my sedentary lifestyle and supplement my 1-2 pilates classes per week. I currently work as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting and realized I spent most of my days sitting. I took a lot of time to research facilities near me as I have very little experience in the gym-world. I also knew I needed as much hand-holding as possible to limit getting hurt. Based on prior experience, I knew that group sessions worked well for me as having an appointment based kept me accountable. My coaching team (AKA Coach Miles) has been the biggest reason I continue to attend sessions. He's excellent at building rapport with his clients as demonstrated by his conversations and check-ins with myself and other clients. Coach Miles is excellent with scaffolding and custom tailoring my goals and exercises to my needs. Notably, I have asthma and PCOS, which is a highly important part of my exercise routines. Coach Miles confidently walks the line of pushing me to my best while considering my limits/health needs (even when I'm whining). I'm currently moving onto my third month of individual sessions with Coach Miles and will hopefully graduate to semiprivate soon as I continue to become comfortable! For those who are hesitant to join, my advice would be to go in for a consultation and do a few sessions! Though I absolutely abhor exercising, I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. The positive environment also contributes to my continued enrollment as the facility is spacious and clean.
