I started training at Soho Strength Lab last summer and have had a phenomenal experience since. I had been considering starting personal training for years, and I was looking for a gym that is welcoming but also challenges its clients. I found all of that and more at SSL—on my first call with Ryan, we discussed my fitness goals, and he made me feel immediately comfortable and matched me with my trainer, Alec. I've been working with Alec twice a week since then, and I cannot speak highly enough about how attentive he is and how great his training program has been for me. I highly recommend Soho Strength Lab.

Dec 02, 2024 · Alyssa O'ConnellI have been training at SSL for 8 years with Scott M. and love the vibe of the gym - it’s a no-nonsense training facility; people are there to workout not socialize; the trainers are friendly and helpful; SSL has a family vibe because it is small and you see the same people regularly. Personally, my training (both physically and diet) with Scott has completely transformed my body which at my age I didn’t think was possible (I am 64). Strongly recommend checking it out.

Dec 03, 2024 · Marfo Ofori-AttaGrateful to Soho Strength and in particular to my trainer and coach JJ. A year ago I was experiencing constant pain, limping badly and lacking full range of motion. A year later, I’m playing tennis pain-free. I’m so grateful and couldn’t recommend JJ and the SSL team more! I’ve worked with other trainers at bigger clubs but nothing compares. JJ’s programming is customized, thoughtful and thorough. He continues to help me rehab, improve strength and mobility and integrate sport specific exercises to elevate my tennis game. So thankful to have found this gym and JJ!!
