Angelica is the reason I can walk barefoot again without pain. After developing posterior tibial tendinitis two months after giving birth, I was in really bad shape and barely able to walk. My feet were further weakened after wearing a walking cast for two months. I had originally started Pilates with Angelica to strengthen my pelvic floor. I had no idea it would would heal my feet and legs as well. Angelica is a masterful teacher and coach. She is such a keen observer of each person’s needs and movements, and her knowledge of how bodies move and work is impressive. Her helpful prompts and suggestions have helped me marshal even the most dormant muscles. I feel strong now, aligned, and pain free. I’m currently working with her during my second pregnancy and that’s been great and supportive as well. I’m so thankful to be working with Angelica and highly recommend her to anyone, whether you’re seeking to just increase your fitness through Pilates or trying to move forward from an injury.

Angelica Thornhill Pilates classes have made me both stronger and more flexible. Angelica really know what she's doing. She's clear and precise in her instruction and she's great at guiding exactly how to correct or improve where needed. When an exercise is too difficult or straining, she never tells you to keep trying it that way. She gives you a modification so that you can do it successfully and develop the ability to do it without the modification. When I first started Pilates with Angelica, I felt confused. What exactly are these core muscles she speaks of? I couldn't feel them. She assured me that one day I would. And then one day, as if by magic, I did! It really blew my mind. What blows my mind even more is that, no matter how long or how often I've lapsed in doing Pilates either with Angelica or on my own, I've never completely lost the strength in my core muscles and I can always feel them now. Pilates reconnects the brain with the body. You'll learn muscles you didn't know you had.
