Jul 09, 2024 · Tyler ThornMy daughter has been in the On My Own program at Discovery since last fall and we are very happy with her progress there. There is a well thought out curriculum with free play, meeting, art, story time, music & movement, gym time, snack time. They have a really nice play gym and the gym teacher brings along his guitar for extra fun. My daughter enjoys it all. I have found that the director is closely involved and very communicative with the parents. They handled the separation process well. My daughter adjusted well to her teachers and has a routine that she looks forward too. She also seems to be learning good manners because she comes home and tells us things like "we don't talk with our mouths full" etc! She successfully interviewed during the preschool process and got into our top choice preschool- which I think had a good amount to do with her sense of independence and confidence that she gets from the On My Own program. One of the preschool directors told me that our daughter was "definitely school-ready". The structure and curriculum at OMO has helped a lot to get her there. My only gripe with the place is the synagogue's ban on strollers in the elevator at certain times because there are multiple other preschools in the building. It can be annoying but not the fault of Discovery Programs.

We have been to a few dance and gymnastic places over the past few years for our 5 year old, Polina, and not one comes close to yours insofar as the care and attention provided to the students. Your administration and teachers should be proud! As business owners dealing with the public ourselves, we know this is a reflection of how well you lead by example.
